Noxx, a dog with a big heart but a turbulent past.
Noxx is a beautiful male dog, born in March 2025, with a touching story. He came from a kill shelter in Romania, together with his mother and little sister. They both found their forever homes... but things turned out differently for Noxx.
He has been adopted and returned three times so far—not because he isn't sweet, quite the opposite, but because he never received the proper guidance he so desperately needs. As a result, Noxx has developed his own ways of coping with tension and insecurity.

Who is Noxx, really?

Noxx is a very sweet, sensitive, and insecure dog. He sometimes masks his insecurity with a tough, aggressive-looking stance. That might seem alarming, but it isn't aggression; it is his way of protecting himself when he feels unsafe.
With the right guidance, no conflict arises—quite the opposite:

  • a social
  • affectionate
  • trouwe
  • dog eager to work

When Noxx feels safe, he is a delightful animal that wants nothing more than to work with his human.

Temperament & behavior

  • Highly eager to learn and willing to work hard
  • Responds excellently
  • Follows his guide blindly
  • Is house-trained
  • Can easily be left alone for a while (currently lives with other dogs)
  • Loves collaboration
  • Sociable with other dogs
  • Kind to cats
  • It does very well in our mixed pack

We’ve recently started walking alongside the bike, and he’s doing a fantastic job. He takes on new tasks enthusiastically and is visibly growing in confidence.

Interaction with people & children

Noxx is very sweet with children.
He finds unfamiliar visitors a bit daunting at first, but with the right guidance, he quickly warms up. And once he trusts you... he loves nothing more than curling up on your lap for cuddles.
He finds everything new and unfamiliar exciting. At the same time, he is happy to take on this challenge together with his support worker. Once he feels safe, his cheerful, sweet personality truly shines through.

His challenges

Noxx struggles with:

  • New situations
  • Unexpected stimuli
  • Too much at once
  • Lack of clear guidance

When he is overwhelmed or lacks proper guidance, he may exhibit a reactive response under extreme stress. This is not aggression, but an expression of overload and insecurity.

That is why we are looking for the following for Noxx:

  • A quiet living environment
  • Patient people
  • Experience with insecure dogs
  • Someone who wants to work with him step by step.
  • Someone who doesn’t want to “fix” him, but wants to guide him.

Ideal placement

  • We are looking for a home for Noxx:
  • without the crowds
  • with a clear structure
  • possibly with another stable dog
  • where he can be himself
  • where time and love are central

He is watchful, which makes him well-suited to a quiet environment.

Practical information

  • Age: 03-2025
  • unneutered (in consultation with a veterinarian)
  • Height: ± 45 cm
  • Weight: 14 kg
  • Sociable with other dogs
  • Kind to cats
  • Is house-trained
  • Can easily be left alone for a while (currently lives with other dogs)

In conclusion

Noxx is not an “easy” dog, but he is an incredibly beautiful soul.
He isn't looking for a perfect owner, but for someone who understands him.
Someone who sees that, behind the insecurity, there is a dog that wants nothing more than to trust, cooperate, and love.
He finally deserves his forever home.
A place where he doesn't have to move again.
A place where he can land.
Noxx is waiting for someone who believes in him.

As long as a permanent home isn't found for Noxx, he will stay with us.
